Hot summer conditions, superb greens rolling beautifully, a father-and-son (or brothers) team topping the leaderboard, and a properly enjoyable day at one of Buckinghamshire's finest venues — Denham served up a memorable day of Golf Pairs action.

Course Highlights

Denham Golf Club is a proper Buckinghamshire classic, and today the course was showcasing itself at its absolute best. The greens were superb throughout — smooth, true, and rolling beautifully, demanding proper touch on every approach and putt. When the greens are that good, everything else about the round tends to look after itself.

Weather Conditions

Hot! Properly warm summer conditions from start to finish — the kind of day where staying hydrated mattered as much as your golf swing. Beautiful weather for enjoying a round on a course of Denham's quality.

Winners

Huge congratulations to Elliott and Stuart Taylor, who took the top spot with a superb 47 points. A brilliant round in hot conditions and a lovely shared-surname double at the top of the leaderboard.

In the runners-up spot were James Crossley and Dominic Lawson with a strong 43 points — a fantastic effort, and Dominic made it a proper day out by also picking up the Nearest the Pin. Nice work.
