Bearwood Lakes 2026

Bearwood Lakes 2026

Bearwood Lakes served up a stunning June day — sunshine, scenic fairways, and a Nearest the Pin that finished just 2 feet from a hole in one.

Course Highlights

Bearwood Lakes is a real treat. Beautiful fairways, immaculate conditions, and one of the most scenic settings on the calendar — the kind of venue that makes every shot feel a little more special. A course that quietly impresses from the first tee to the last, and one that more than lived up to expectations today.

Weather Conditions

Slightly chilly for a June day, with a few short showers passing through early on, before the sun came out for the majority of the round. Beautiful conditions overall — the kind of day where the course really shone and players got to enjoy it at its best.

Memorable Moments

The shot of the day came on the par-3 3rd hole, where one tee shot finished just 2 feet from a hole in one. Inches from glory, but a brilliant moment all the same — and exactly the kind of close call that gets retold over a drink in the clubhouse afterwards.

And on the style front, Tim Brown and James Hearnden took the Best Dressed honours — a proper effort on the wardrobe front and a worthy nod for bringing the look to match the occasion.

Winners

Huge congratulations to Luke Leighton and Barry Allen, who took the top spot on the day. A brilliant round on a beautiful course and a thoroughly deserved win.

In the runners-up spot were Tim O'Connor and Rob Gwilliam — a fantastic effort and a strong finish on a course that rewards good golf at every turn.
