Wind, Waves & Welsh Links – A Stunning 3-Day Challenge in Anglesey

Three incredible courses, ever-changing coastal conditions, and a true test of links golf, our Anglesey 3-Day eventdelivered everything you’d expect from a classic Welsh golfing experience.

From exposed seaside fairways to dramatic cliff-top views and inland precision play, each day brought a unique challenge and plenty of memorable moments.

Day 1 – Anglesey Golf Club

The event kicked off at Anglesey Golf Club, one of Wales’ most respected links courses, set right along the Irish Sea.

With firm, fast-running fairways, natural dunes, and ever-present coastal winds, players had to quickly adapt to classic links conditions. The wind proved to be the biggest challenge, influencing every shot and making scoring unpredictable throughout the day.

More elevated than a traditional links course, Bull Bay offers a unique and remote feel, with constant elevation changes and narrow, testing fairways. Once again, the wind played a major role, adding another layer of difficulty.
