  • One of the few venues in the UK home to three championship golf courses.

For a competitive and enjoyable day of golf, Frilford Heath will have you thinking strategically from the outset.Frilford Heath was founded in 1908, set amongst 500 acres of heathland in Oxfordshire. The green course is the shortest one, but it is far from being considered a pushover. The opening par 3 tests even the most experienced golfer, with scarce birdie opportunities. The toughest stretch of the course comes between the 13th and the 16th with a string of fine par 4s. This course has recently hosted multiple national events as part of England Golf Week. It offers terrific views, well-groomed fairways and greens, and plenty of strategic value at each hole.
  • Laid out by 5 time Open Champion J.H. Taylor and home of British golfer Eddie Pepperell.

An extremely secluded tranquil venue, with sandy soils allowing for play all year around whatever the weather. The Red course is the oldest of the three courses at Frilford having been laid out in 1908. It is an authentic, challenging championship course, offering a traditional heathland experience, with pushed up greens and fairways that demand accurate driving to score well. The strong stretch between holes 5 and 9 include four hefty, two shot holes and a par 3 at the 9th that many consider to be quite memorable. The Red course will be a test of any golfer’s ability. Anyone who admires traditional links golf will enjoy this course. You have to play it to appreciate it.
  • Playing here for the first time will feel like uncovering a hidden treasure.

Set in magnificent surroundings on a private estate, Harleyford is considered one of the top 10 courses in Buckinghamshire.Harleyford Golf Club was designed by Donald Steel, one of the world’s leading golf course architects, in the early 1990’s. It is set on the north bank of the River Thames and around the course you can find some beautiful James Doran-Webb's driftwood sculptures. Many holes have a tree-lined nature, however you will never feel overly restricted. The signature hole is the 12th par 3, in order to have a chance of carding a par or better you should avoid the sand off the tee and make sure to stay below the hole. Harleyford challenges the most experienced of players, whilst enticing beginners, which makes it a rewarding experience for players of all levels.
  • A renowned designer and scenic setting at its core, a luxury thrill to go unmissed.

Venture to the ambient parkland of Calcot Park for an exceptional, traditional members’ club golfing getaway.Opened in 1930 and now acknowledged as part of the top six golf clubs in Berkshire, the course at Calcot Park Golf Club is encompassed by nature’s beauty, giving it a ‘world of its own’ feel. The undulating, fast and true greens, the traditional feel and the parkland setting, make the venue fitting for tournaments of the highest level. Although the course is recognised as being demanding, it offers a fair test to golfers as they weave round the Calcot Park Mansion. There are four excellent Par 3s, including the signature hole, played across a lake to an elevated green. Make sure you bring your best game, as you can rest assured you will have a couple of badgers, foxes and deer spectating.

Concept is great and everyone was very friendly. Not my best round but really enjoyed the day as a whole. The event was really well ran and the free goody bag was a nice touch. My first golfpairs event But wont be my last.
