South West Salver 2014
Played over some of South West England’s finest courses with a blend of links and parkland. 2014 saw two of the hardest courses in the AGPT calendar feature in this lineup. The event was played over Royal North Devon, St Mellion and Saunton East. The oldest course in England followed by a beautifully laid out but tough parkland followed by “the best course in Britain not to have an open!”
As in other events played as 4BBB stableford over 3 days with individual day prizes including trollies from our sponsors Stewart Golf and holiday weekends from Natural Retreats. Played at the end of the summer in superb weather, the winners (mixed pair Clubs R Us) came home with combined 112 points for 54 holes, demonstrating just how tough the courses were in great condition.
