Weymouth Golf Scramble: A Day of Friendly Competition and Great Golf
What a fantastic day we had at Weymouth Golf Club for our latest scramble event! Despite the cloudy skies and a little drizzle here and there, the competition was intense, and the spirit of the players was as strong as ever. Golfers braved the weather, and there was no shortage of fun, with lots of teams showing up in matching outfits—always a good sign that the camaraderie was strong!
Course Overview:
The Weymouth Golf Club provided the perfect setting for an exciting scramble event, with its beautiful landscape and well-maintained course. Although the weather was a bit unpredictable, it didn't dampen the spirits of the players, who were all eager to take on the challenge and compete for the top spots.
Tournament Highlights:

Winning Group: Myron Littlewood, Charlie Cross, and Alex Field – These three played incredibly well, managing to secure the win with solid teamwork and precise shots throughout the course. They were truly on their A-game!

Runner-Up: Stuart Anderson, Kevin Bristow, Andy Lewis, and Allan Billie – Just a step behind the winners, this group gave it their all and finished with an impressive performance.

Nearest the Pin (5th Hole): Kevin Bristow – A great shot that landed right on the pin!

Longest Drive (Men's): Leigh Cornick – Leigh had an incredible drive on the course, showcasing some serious distance!

Longest Drive (Ladies'): Maggie Ginn – Maggie hit a fantastic drive, proving her strength and skill off the tee.
Despite the cloudy skies and a bit of drizzle, the day at Weymouth Golf Club was a huge success. The competition was fierce, the atmosphere was fantastic, and the camaraderie among players made this scramble event one to remember.
