Wareham Golf Club: A Perfect Day of Golf and Great Teamwork
What a spectacular day it was at Wareham Golf Club! The sun was out, the temperature was warm, and golfers were in full swing, making it a perfect Thursday for a round of golf. The course was in fantastic condition, and the weather couldn't have been better for a day of competition. But it wasn't just the weather that made the day special—the event was made possible by the incredible team of volunteers from Wareham Golf Club.

A huge thank you to the 10 amazing volunteers from Wareham Golf Club who helped keep everything running smoothly. From starting duties to marshalling the course, they ensured the event was a success. Their hard work and dedication made the entire day enjoyable for all participants, and we couldn’t have done it without them.

As always, the competition was fierce, and the players did not disappoint. There were some fantastic performances on the day, with the winners taking home well-deserved recognition:

Winners of the Day: Alan Runcie, Paul Sexton, Jon Smith, and Gareth Stratton – A great team performance to take the win!

Men’s Longest Drive (LD): Ben Yule – An impressive drive that wowed the crowd and earned him the title of Longest Drive of the day.

Nearest the Pin (NTP): Daniel Bromley – A fantastic shot that found the pin and earned him the NTP prize.
The event at Wareham Golf Club was a resounding success, with great weather, excellent golf, and a wonderful atmosphere. A big thank you once again to the volunteers who helped make the day run smoothly, and congratulations to all the winners. We can’t wait to do it all again soon!
