RNA Blog: A Glorious Day of Golf Across Wales

What an unforgettable few days it’s been for our RNA event participants! From Royal St David’s to Aberdovey, golfers experienced incredible courses, stunning weather, and some truly memorable moments. Here’s a recap of the highlights from each course:

Day 1 - Royal St David’s Golf Club

Weather: Glorious sunshine set the stage for a perfect day of golf!

Memorable Moment: A huge congratulations to Andy Duke, who made a Hole-in-One on the 7th! What a fantastic achievement on this beautiful course.

Tournament Highlights:

Day 2 - Nefyn Golf Club

The views at Nefyn were simply breathtaking! Thursday was a day of unforgettable scenery, with golfers playing on the Championship Course and the 9-hole Point Course. Although the 4-hole loop of the Point Course was impacted by recent storm damage, the day was filled with spectacular coastal views, making it a memorable round.

Day 3 - Aberdovey Golf Club

The Aberdovey Golf Club always impresses, and this time was no exception. The day began with a lovely warm welcome from the course staff, and despite changing winds in the morning, golfers were treated to stunning conditionslater on. In the words of Bernard Darwin, "Aberdovey... the course that my soul loves best of all the courses in the world."

Final Thoughts:

The RNA event brought together great golf, stunning views, and fantastic weather—but it was the camaraderie and sportsmanship that truly stood out. A massive thank you to everyone who participated, from the golfers to the course staff and event organizers. It was a pleasure to witness some incredible moments and achievements!
