A Remarkable First Event at Barton On Sea Golf Club

What an amazing day it was for the very first event held at Barton On Sea Golf Club! A full field of 173 golfers joined us for an unforgettable day, and we couldn’t have asked for better conditions. From the moment the golfers arrived, the new clubhouse, which reopened in November 2024, set the perfect tone for the day with its welcoming staff and excellent facilities. The experience was made even more special by the fantastic weather – the sun shone all day, making it the perfect day for golf.

The Beautiful Course & Stunning Views:

The golfers who played the Becton & Needles loop were treated to breathtaking views of the Needles in the distance, adding to the charm of this stunning course. This 27-hole course blends the original Harry Colt design from 1932 with the newer holes designed by the well-known J. Hamilton Stutt, completed in 1992. The combination of classic design and modern elements provided a fantastic golfing experience for players of all abilities.

A Social & Relaxing End to the Day:

After an exciting round, the outside terrace of the clubhouse was the perfect spot to unwind. It was packed to capacity as golfers shared stories of their rounds, enjoyed a drink, and relaxed in the wonderful atmosphere. It was a fitting end to a truly enjoyable day at Barton On Sea Golf Club.
